How can you become more effective? What brings you meaning? How can you move on to bigger and better things? Which careers would bring you the most satisfaction?
It’s okay if you’re unsure about the answer to those questions. Together we will get you there.
Through executive coaching together, we will focus on increasing your performance in your current professional life by setting clear goals and working together to achieve them. We will also work on developing your talents and abilities so you’ll be well on the way to taking your next professional step – whatever you want that to be. And, if you’re unsure about what your career path should be, we will discover your talents, skills, passions, dreams, and everything else that makes you tick, and determine specific occupations that would be an ideal match for you.
My approach to career coaching is eclectic. First, I put a lot of effort into getting to know you on a deep level – your values, history, dreams, goals, likes, dislikes, and everything else that makes you the wonderfully unique human being you are. If needed, I also use personality instruments and career interest inventories so we can get a clear sense of your strengths, developmental opportunities, interests, and overall makeup. As a licensed psychologist, I have access to a lot of measures that many other coaches are unable to use, and I use them to our advantage, to get a really well-rounded perspective of you that addresses any potential blind spots you may have. We also consider practical factors like pre-existing skills you possess, desired income, and additional lifestyle factors. Then, we pull it together to create a detailed plan for you and your career.
Collaborating with you to achieve greater success in your life’s work is an incredibly important (I would even say, sacred) task, and I take it very seriously.
